Torres.- Una mujer de 28 años ha resultado herida muy grave este jueves 11 de diciembre de 2014 por la mañana tras colisionar con una furgoneta en el Paseo de la Castellana, cuando este vehículo ha girado hacia la calle del Profesor Waksman y ha golpeado a la moto que circulada por el carril bus, a la altura del número 148 de dicha vía, el mismo lugar donde fue arrollada la delegada del Gobierno en Madrid, Cristina Cifuentes, el 20 de agosto de 2013. Al igual que esta joven, Cifuentes también iba en moto. Estuvo en coma diez días, y otros diez días en la UCI, para después recuperarse en planta durante otros diez días. Un mes en total antes de recibir el alta hospitalaria en La Paz.

Por causas que investiga la Policía Municipal, una furgoneta que circulaba en sentido norte y que ha girado hacia la calle del Profesor Waksman ha golpeado a una moto que iba por el carril bus, también en sentido norte.
La motorista ha quedado tendida en la calzada y cuando el Samur ha llegado ha comprobado que sufría un traumatismo craneoencefálico severo, posible traumatismo abdominal y fractura de un brazo.
