El incendio de un coche en el túnel de Plaza Castilla paraliza el tráfico

Torres.- El incendio de un vehículo en el túnel de Plaza Castilla este miércoles 17 de diciembre de 2014 a las 20.00 horas ha provocado un atasco general en la capital, debido al efecto mariposa en vías y ejes anexos que ha llegado afectar hasta a la circulación de la M30.

Por causas que todavía se desconocen, un vehículo empezó a arder provocando una inmensa humareda que hizo que se tuviera que cortar el túnel al tráfico hasta la extinción del incendio tras liberar a los conductores atrapados en la humareda.

Apagado el fuego se restableció el tráfico en el interior del túnel, primero en dirección salida de Madrid, y posteriormente tras retirarse el vehículo afectado, en sentido entrada en la ciudad.
