Torres.- Por segundo año consecutivo, ‘Best of Be Festival’ llega a Madrid este miércoles 29 de octubre de 2014. Este festival de teatro, danza y performance tendrá lugar en Matadero Madrid hasta el domingo día 2 de noviembre con tres obras seleccionadas por su capacidad de trascender fronteras: ‘From the Waltz to the Mambo’ (Hungría), ‘Lloops & breaks’ (Austria) y ‘Waiting’ (Bégica/Irak), tres de los espectáculos más destacados del festival internacional de Birmingham.
Tres espectáculos cortos
‘Best of BE 2014’ representará tres espectáculos cortos de un máximo de 30 minutos, muy diferentes entre sí, de tres países europeos. Tres trabajos variados para gustos diversos que mezclan humor, danza, improvisación, teatro físico y video instalación en un ambiente divertido y relajado, facilitando el intercambio de ideas entre los artistas y el público.
‘From the Waltz to the Mambo’, de Radioballet (Hungría): un manual de baile de 1960 se convierte en una herramienta para explorar la belleza y la educación. Un virtuoso y divertido solo de danza de Milán Ujvari (Premio al mejor intérprete BE FESTIVAL 2014).
‘Lloops & breaks’, de Julia Schwarzbach (Austria) invita al público a participar en una serie de instrucciones. Una mezcla frenética de improvisación, movimiento y acción-reacción, donde se borran las fronteras entre el público y el artista.
Y ‘Waiting’, de Mokhallad Rasem (Bélgica/Irak) es una inquietante reflexión sobre el significado de esperar: un bus, un beso de un ser querido, un visado, un futuro incierto…un collage visualmente poderoso de cine, arte, movimiento y sonido. Espectáculo ganador del ACT Festival.
La sesión triple contará con un intermedio de 45 minutos e irá seguida de un coloquio informal con las compañías presentado por los directores del festival.
